It's more than okay :-) When I met my husband back in the day, I approached him and offered to buy him a drink. He later told me he was flattered by this and that made him more interested in me. We've been together 6 1/2 years now...and I'm glad I had the courage to do it. :-)

Yes, if you've known the guy for quite some time, and are sure that no matter what you do, the guy will accept it, or at least decline in a friendly manner. Just ask the guy casually "Wanna go out sometime?"
No, if you hardly know the guy, and you're not even sure if he is aware of your existance. You might not be able to take the sheer rejection.
But, if you're unfazed by anything, give it a shot.

Yeah, I'd say go for it. I think it's very sexist that guys have to ask girls out, although I'm not the kind of person that would ask anyone else out! I think guys kinda drew the short straw on that one, and you may be doing him a favor by asking yourself. Just make sure you know the guy well, and he may have never asked you because he's too shy! Yes. If He already has a good Relationship with the girl. No problems. Just walk up to him, and ask him if he wants to go to dinner. But if he doesn't have a good Relationship with the girl. Work on it.

it is perfectly ok for girls to ask guys out. some may think it is weird but others might think it is really cool and youll b so proud of urself if u do just start by flirting n work ur way up if ur uncomfrotable make it 2 where u r

yeah. if u dont, he will never ask u out. he could like ya till the end of time, but if he is anything like me, then there is no chance. another way if you dont want to ask him out, just drop some rumors. you know small ones nothing to them. he might make the first move. good luck

Sure. It saves the guy the trouble and hard thought. If you ask him out, he knows you like him. He won't feel such a risk asking you on a second date if it goes well! Just go up to him, and say: "Hi I was wondering, would you like to go out with me sometime? Here's my phone number, you're welcome to call whenever you like!" And give him your number. Its not as hard as it sounds, just push that lump out of your throat, ask him out and hold your head up high! Why not? A lot of guys like that, especially the shy ones. You know when a guy is full of it and fake when he hits on you...don't be THAT way. Just be yourself.
