I would like the Institute for Applied Cookery. Or the Institute for Applied Tourism. Or the Institute for Applied Trekking and Hiking. Or Animal Psychology or Dream Research or Applied Parapsychology, or etc, etc, etc ....lots of great institutions to choose from!

Well Lottie I am unsure of the cause for being in an institution but overall for a mental or addiction problem we have a wonderful facility here in SW Va. where everyone is treated with dignity and respect they have some wonderful programs there.The place is beautiful inside and out,well kept.

any of them that worked. I am an ADD alcoholic with a long struggle with depression and chronic back pain. I also suffer from Social Anxiety Disorder and maybe mild psychosis. No one treats all that stuff at once. but good question though.
Oh, hey. I forgot to ask, any of you ladies single out there?

I was "institutionalized" when I stayed in a hospital for a couple months a few yrs ago.My doctor agreed that unless I was in dire straits,that it would not be healthy for me to return due to the fact that I can become institutionalized so easily.
