but not the third. The best time they said to see was 45 minutes before dawn, which where I live- was 7:52 am.
I was bummed I might have overlooked it all, but I know I saw two of the three planets...yet which ones i dunno.

I was out right before sunrise and saw only two (2) myself as I faced Southeast; one on top the other. The bottom one bigger and brighter and the one on top seemed to "twinkle".

I think that one of them is Mercury, I have heard that you can see it sometimes before dawn

I think one of them is Venus. You can see it in the night or before sun rays.
