Livebearing fish (Guppies, Mollies, Platies, etc.) breed internally, so the babies develop inside the protection of the female, hence why they're so easy to breed. To acheive internal fertilization, the anal fin of the male has developed one of the fin rays into a gonopoduim, which is basically a penis, through which sperm flows into the female. In babies this becomes visible at about 3 weeks of age, after which they should be separated, so they don't breed themselves. Hope this was helpful.

Around 3 weeks old to a month you should be able to tell the sex. Males have more color on their body's and a long tube underneath them.
Females have a normal fin under the body and usually don't have color on the body's! They may have some on the tail!
Males also are smaller then females!

I have always found it easier to tell the females first and can sometimes tell at 2 weeks of age but it usually takes around a month. Just keep checking their bottom area, females will have a gravid spot with a rounded anal fin and males will have a gonopodium which is their male part, they all start out with rounded anal fins so make sure to look for the gravid spot.

generally you cannot. If you can see the small fin by the vent, the males will have a pointed one and the females a rounded one.

All guppies are born female. Gradually some change and become males depending on the temperature and water quality.

The males are the lazy, greedy ones. look for the trail of bubbles from the tail-end - that'll be a male, for sure.
