You might be short but that's ok there is a number of things to do. I love sport bikes. I taught my girlfriend how to ride and she is short. You can shave the seat down and use a gel pack instead so you still have comfort. Depending on the bike you can also lower the springs a few inches. Wear a shoe with a bigger heal to help you touch the ground. The ninja 500 is a nice sport bike to do this to. I have also seen girls ride GSX'rs at the track that are your height and they use the high heel boot. My GF at first wanted to make sure she could ride a sport bike but would not purchase one without sitting on one that was lowered etc.. Just trust me on it you can find a bike to work for you. Hope this helps.

You aren't too short. You are going to need to do some shopping for a bike that you feel comfortable sitting on to see if your feet touch the ground. Most dealers will let you sit on the bikes they have on the showroom floor. Also get some literature and check out the seat height specs.

Most sports bikes are designed to live high off the ground. If you're determined, try to find a good riding school and buy one that fits you safely. Hope this helps.

I have a 2005 GSXR which you can lower, most sportbikes you can, but probably not enough to make a difference in your case. My brother has a Suzuki GS500F which my wife can touch the ground on and she is 5'2". It is a really nice bike, and quick.

well, no, but you will need great balance, specialised riding techniques (for example, you might need to slide off the seat to get a foot on the ground at traffic lights), and you may need to modify the seat height on the bike.
but, if you really want to, you will manage it.
jockeys shorter than you can ride great big racehorses, after all
peace, and good luck

Nope, just get a Kawasaki Ninja 250R Sport. They are the perfect bike for you.

If you can't touch the ground flat-footed on both sides of the bike then it's too tall for you. Just my opinion.

There are ones you can ride, without lowering them. Look at Suzuki GS/500
