I'm choosing Star Wars as in the original that was released 25 or so years ago. The story was exactly the same as 100 old Westerns I'd watched only set in space. The acting was pure corn on the cob and even the parodies of the movie were miles better including the great Star Whores. But as it was all new at the time, the entertainment aspect was tops and even though he was tongue in cheek, Alec Guiness stole the show. Obviously, everything improved in the sequels and prequels but it's kind of like your first love, you'll never forget that person no matter what.

i've only seen episodes 1-3 but so far, i have to say that revenge of the sith has the best acting and effects and story. it was the time when anakin became consumed by his anger and became darth vader. The fight scenes were spectacular and the effects were extraordinary. It was a dark time and the jedi are becoming weak. it seem that there was no hope and that was the best part. Will peace be regained? What will happen to anakin and amidala's children? Will the jedi get hold of the power they have lost? Episode 3 had the best story by far...

When it comes to acting, I'm going to say Return of the Jedi, for special effects I'll go with Revenge of the Sith, and for story I'm going to have to go with Empire Strikes Back

In my opinion i think that Revenge of the sith has all the best acting, special effects and story

Best acting: Anakin turns evil and kill the rest of the jedi
Best Special Effects: Sith Lord against Yoda
Best Story: How all jedis fallen and killed and Darth Vader rise up

as quickly as i all started examining your question i considered the super call wars video clips. The scene interior the area bar with the alien band and so on interior the remastered video clips purely regarded crap and unrealistic, the puppets have been lots greater helpful. basically CGI is slowly changing anamatronics and specific effects puppets and all the latex and make up and that is not fairly much as good, some video clips are finished of action sequences that seem greater like comic strip than movie. i think of there will be a back lash against it in some unspecified time interior the destiny, there has too be. purely seem at what proportion human beings accept as true with you right here.

best acting for Chewbacca crying when Han was captured in Empire strikes back.
best sfx for Star wars as there had never been a sci-fi that captured anyone's imagination like it before.
best story for return of the jedi that sums it all up...................the others are just a piece of crap for Lucas to bank in from..........who needs those lame prequels when the world had seen better sci-fi like The Matrix trilogy.
