I just don't think it's a good idea to leave on outside lights on all night. We turn ours off before we go to bed.

Most people turn off the outside lights when they retire for the night. If their X-mas tree is lit and is open from a window, they may leave the lights on it. A week before and after X-mas, many people leave the outside lights on too, all night.

Nope mine go out as the late news comes on. Never leave lights unattended,that is too dangerous,but see some on in the middle of the day and there isn't a car in sight in the driveways either. How dumb is that? Some use them for porch lights and go off to work in the mornings(my stupid neighbor) then she comes home at lunchtime and "Might" remember to turn them off. How dumb is that?

I think many do, because I see them everywhere in the wee hours of the night.

I work Nights and when i come home for lunch break at midnight all the lights are still on. Also When I get home from work at 6am they are still on leading me to beleive YES. :)

Assuming that they are properly put in (RCD /MCB secure practices) then they should be advantageous all evening. If in any respect stressful then possibly you need to positioned a timer on them to modify off later at evening.

I dont know why people even put lights out. Its so stupid making your electricity bill go up. I dont know about you but my bill averages $75.00 and I dont want to pay anymore to the greedy power company.
