people so concerned about the "what if's" these days , there lil puppets copying everyone else, to scared to confront someone,
e.g a lady gets her handbag stolen in broad day light and everyone runs like there gonna get raped lol.

It's all the media attention these days. I believe that it's still safer today than it was in the old west. Everyone carrying guns and little to no law, I'm sure it was worse back in the olden days.
You do need to keep an eye out for yourself & not walk around with your head in the clouds. If you use common sense and don't go around looking for trouble, the chances of finding trouble are small.

Maybe some just stand around and watch in awe but nobody runs unless there's a shooting. There is a time to run and a time to help. IF you want to get killed throw yourself in the way but I know if I was in the situation I would much rather live. Let the other person be the hero. If someone was in need I definitely would call the police.

Most people don't want to be the next victim of robbery, and don't want to be caught up in the time and cost of being a witness if they report the crime to the police. We want nice, smooth, easy lives with no problems. Scared? Yes, because it's our nature. We have that 'flight or fight' response for a reason. And most of us know how dangerous it is to fight. Weak? Maybe. We own too much, can buy too much and are too afraid of losing it.

not all people are scared and weak.its a concern these days when you go toe to toe with some idiot that he could have a weapon and take the cowards way out.what happened to throwing down like men fist to fist.when you catch someone stealing or robbing like on tv they cry like infants when they get caught.dont assume what you dont know.

bcuz more things have been invented and better machines and most of all WEPONS for bad guys. Thats why were all very scared of what we will get stolen or killed!.
We're weaker bcuz of the new types of sicknesses and the flues going around.
