This happens all the time in university. If the lecturer was bad, you would only go along if you knew he was going to talk about what will be in the exams or give you some info you couldn't get otherwise. When it comes to a bad lecturer, the smart students just learn the stuff themselves from books from the library.

However, if you are in primary or high school, you should still go to class. They are compulsory aren't they? If the teacher was really that bad, you could speak to the principal or have your parents speak to the principal.

Too late to figure out that it's "too late" and not "to late" as well? Seriously dude, if you're going to make accusations about someone being an idiot, make sure you know how to spell simple Dolch words.

To answer your question, I wouldn't ditch school to study at the library simply because my teacher is an idiot. Wouldn't that mean I should ditch school EVERY day? That's just not practical. If there's a particular day in which you're supposed to study in class and you'd rather do it on your own at the library, that's not so bad. My husband just wasted over an hour of his day in an online class discussion that was supposed to help him on an assignment. He could have spent that time actually researching the assignment on his own rather than listening to classmates ramble on about nothing of importance. So I know what you're going through. If one day isn't going to kill you, skip it...but DO go to the library, and DO proof your assignments before you turn them in. :)

Did something like that. At the end of the year, everyone who studied from the teacher's notes did badly on the exam. I studied from the book and got an A. Skipped that class all year, or painted my nails in the back. The guy was senile.

No. One shud, in such circumstances, go to the Principal and see that some remedial measures are taken by the Principal so that the nation's upcoming citizens are not being wasted like this.

if your in college
all you have to do is pass the tests.

if your still in high school
go to the principle and ask to be put in a different class,

cheers to you for taking charge of your own education.
