Probably because they spent so much money to buy them, they want to get their money's worth, so they figure if they keep them long enough they might use them enough to warrent the money spent.

Maybe some day they will look at them again. I think the National Geograpic mags are kept because of the pictures and the storys, they are like no other.

Because they seem to have real useful pictures and articles that you do eventually look at. I have around 30 of them and i havent looked at them for several yeARS.
