lost, jericho, to name a few..
they are so stupid!, they take ages to explain the story, they always include stupid emotional scenes about life and love and stuff, i mean come on!!!
lost is so slow, u could have missed have the 2 series and it wouldn't have made a difference.

I like Lost and the way it's taken time to construct the various characters. If you want to watch stories that begin on Monday and end on Friday stick to soaps. Personally I prefer being allowed to take my time to form an opinion about a character and you can't always do that if a series is six weeks long, it tends to be more plot driven and the people become secondary.
I agree with you about the love scenes etc. I'd prefer to see more of what goes on elsewhere rather than Kate, Sawyer and Jack

I haven't seen Lost or Jericho. It don't seem to call to me like Prison Break or 24. Lost seem like some tropical island story almost like Survivor which I don't watch at all. Jericho I missed the beginning so I won't start looking at it. Yea they come out with new dramas just to compete with other channels but in the end they get cancelled.

Those 2 shows would be what we call serialized shows, meaning their stories continue from episode to episode. Therefore, it might seem long. Keep in mind that you have to know about the characters, which may take many episodes to do. Would you rather a series ends in a handful of episodes, after which you would know nothing about the characters, but at least the conclusion would have been speedily arrived at?

They're boooorrrrrriiinnnnnggggg! I can't watch Lost any more. As for prime time TV, I like Desperate Housewives because the storyline moves FAST! A lot happens in every single episode.

Lost didn't start out to be this insipid tripe though. They just recently came down with that affliction. I was sensing that "Heroes" show was going to be more of same so didn't even start

I think LOST is a great show.
But everyone has their different likes and dislikes. It all depends on the person really.
I think everyone should agree to disagree about television in general. :)
