I am more spiritual than religious, having said that here are my beliefs...I believe in Karma. I believe in reincarnation, I believe that you reap what you sew whether in this life or the next. I believe that people are both good and evil and I stay away from the evie. I believe we each have a purpose and until that is fulfilled we stay here, or we keep coming back till it is done..I believe that each life builds on the previous one, have you heard of people having "old souls"? These are people who have been here or in existense many times.....I believe in kindness, generosity, forgiveness, honesty, compassion, love, friendship, loyalty, time well spent, giving even when it hurts, (you have two dollars and giving one to the homeless guy on the corner), a higher being that is all loving and kind, shared experiences, family (those you are born with and more importantly those that you make your family), sharing, peace not only in my life but I wish it for everyone, responsibility to yourself, family, friends, your community, and your country, the story of Christ, miracles, hope even when almost all is lost, desperation and how it can ruin a person, caring for your own even when they have done you wrong, things happen to you for a reason and the reason doesn't show itself for years or never, second chances, third chances, and fourth chances, the arts and how they can lift your soul, mother earth and that we should take care of her,(which we have done very poorly so far), not needing half the stuff we have and confusing want with need, a day of reckoning for those who are not good people, I believe in me with all my faults and short comings, creating memories and that memories are a prized pocession, that de ja vue is real and a memory from a past live, keeping a child innocent for as long as possible, comfort foods can heal a lot of wounds, woggies, (like the 20 year old sweater I have and wear around the house), and I believe we all have something to give and/or share to make this world a better place.......Like I said I am more spiritual than religous, but there is religion in my life. I do pray, I do hope, I do all of the above things as best I can each day....I know I am a good person because I work at it all the time.....Hope this helps with your journey of knowledge.....Peace......

My beliefs are basically Buddhist.
As I understand it, we come into the world, not as a changeless and everlasting soul, but as a stream of consciousness, shaped by who we have been and what we have done in past lives.
We live this life, which in its turn changes and modifies us - for the better or the worse. We die, and now this changed stream of consciousness moves through a realm called the Bardo where we can review what we have done. And then the process starts again, with another birth.
Eventually this stream will become enlightened, realise its true nature, and merge again with the Source from which it sprang.
The Buddha never spoke about God and such matters. For him, the ultimate aim was the end of that suffering which is inseparable from being human.
I hope my brevity doesn't offend any Buddhist scholars, but that it does satisfy the questioner.

I am Catholic, but don't actually believe EVERYTHING the bible tells us. I believe that when you die, your soul goes to God and that he will judge us. if you have been good during your life and have not committed any mortal sins, you are welcomed into Heaven and live for eternity in happinness with God.
However, I don't believe that if you have been bad then you go to Hell. I believe that God loves us all and that he would never condem anyone to eternal pain and sufferening.
To be honest, I'm not really sure what i think happenns to these people. Maybe they are let into heaven only when they are truly sorry for the sins they have committed. If and when this happens, God will forgive them and they will be welcomed into Heaven. If not, then they wait until the end of time, just outside the gates of eternal happinnesss.

Life is an adventure. One lives a life, one you make either wonderful or terrible for yourself, struggling to make those decisions that always make you ask yourself, "What if?" In the end, you die, and whatever does happen to you happens.
I'm not at liberty to say what happens after death, because I genuinely don't know. I don't want to believe that it's the end, and I'm unable to believe it's not, but I do believe that a soul is merely the energy flowing through your body that your body creates, and when you die, said energy signal escaped from the hold your body had on it, and implants itself in objects nearby.
Thus do these high energy levels cause synpse malfunction in brains of people nearby, causin optical and sonic hallucinations, called ghosts.
That's what I believe, but I can't ever know for sure until I see.

i believe pretty much as what the ancient eygptians believed, that we go to the afterlife. The physical body dies and the soul ( universal consciousness) is gradually released from the Earth plane and goes into the afterlife. I have read many accounts by mediums and trance mediums on life after death and they are very honest and genuine.
If you say there is no afterlife then why do we have spirit guides helping us, ancestor's , loved ones to comfort and help us, and as for past lives.....anything is possible.

If I embraced a theory that expressed my character and self, i might have become a nihilist. it relatively is my nature to experience that each and one and all is hopeless and meaningless. faith in Christ continuously attracts me faraway from that to a minimum of something extra suitable, to a theory that folk do be counted---warts and all--and that what I do as a individual has an result upon the universe. And, that no be counted how undesirable issues at the instant are, there is something in action which will carry us to a extra suitable realm and place than we can think of now, the two as persons and a species. besides the shown fact that, i ought to determine a individual making the argument that me being interested in Christianity replaced into expression of the element of myself that struggled against nihilism, even without understanding that element of me existed.

I'm a satanist.
We believe there is no god, no devil, no 'supreme' creator, and no after-life.
Our time on this world is precious, and we do all we can to make the most of every single second. Be the absolute best human being that you can be! And above all, enjoy life to the full! Experience as much as you possibly can. Don't waste a moment of it!

Regarding this present life, I share the view of that great Christian woman, Mother Theresa, who worked amidst the filth, squalor and disease of Calcutta, and cared for the sick and dying. She said that the purpose of life was to serve God in caring for all his creation. We can do that through unselfishness, loving, forgiving and so on.
As for the after-life, Christians believe that we will join a new spiritual existence. Whether that is a good or bad experience depends on whether or not we have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord & Saviour. And it's never too late in your life to make that decision.

I believe you are born, you live a little while, you die, you rest a little while and then you are born again for the cycle to start over :)
I am a Witch and I believe in a God and a Goddess (who have three facets). The Dark Goddess, called Hecate the Crone, is queen of Mysteries, of Wisdom and of Rest and it is to her that we go to rest after death.

I am Pagan/Wiccan.
I believe we have Past lives and stuff. and we keep comming back untill we learn the lessions we are suposed to !
Karma has alot to do with this. We create our own karma of course. and it follows us to our next life even! So it makes sense why we can be a good hardworking person but still have a crappy life. We coulda built up alot of bad karma in our past life.
If yoiu live a good life, be a good person you will beable to get to stay i the astral or come back as an animal or something. To us animals are a higher being!
I am vrey happy with my way of life !
