A diploma is what you get out of high school. It is also a certificate of some form of completion/graduation.
A degree means you have been educated at a college or university in some specific field and you are now well educated in that area. (ie, a college degree in biology or something)
A degree is better. You can get higher ranges of degree, associate, bachelor, master, doctorate. That is the ranking of degrees.

Diploma is Generally 3 years & degree is 4 years duration.
Degree has more thorough teaching than diploma.

Generally speaking Diploma courses are not as difficult as Degrees. Degree courses take 3 years full time study on average. A diploma is usually 1.5 to 2 years. A Diploma course will usually have set subjects. In a Degree you will be allowed to choose a number of elective subjects not necessarily related to you major.

Is college diploma easier, less demanding and less challenging to earn compared to bachelor s degree? I feel that examinations in subjects in diploma are easier to score compared to degree. Besides, I think that diploma students are given much more guidance by lecturers compared to bachelor degree.
