they say it is easier to control an entire city than to control our own tongue (words)

you said what needed to be said, you probably have people on your side you dont know about... just relax, you have a right to feel the way you feel... if you said stuff you regret then just say sorry and move on... thats the best way

hey thanks for the thumbs up... :-)

you'd be surprised at who admires a person that sometimes says what needs to be said, because they probably think the same thing, just wouldnt say it outloud... people that try and make you miserable are just miserable themselves and dont feel better unless they can make others go to their level... what you do next will either bring others on board with you or think you overreacted... its not you against the world... dont think that everyone will look down on you... then they will because you assumed they would.. ive been working for 20 years

1 day dosnt define who you are...

Depends on the circumstances. What did the other person say, and what was the extend of you losing your temper?

You can't lose your job for defending yourself against racism, provided you did not commit another crime in so defending yourself.

If all you did was tell her to go back to school to get a better vocabulary, I'd hardly call that losing your temper.

Go straight to the Anti-discrimination tribunal if you are having any problems at all.

once you're done battling and the finest fist has flown.....what have you ever received? How do you strive against lack of information? How do you strive against racism? i don't believe of you do. i imagine you strenghten your inner self adverse to the depraved lack of information of our international. The lack of information will continually be with us, till such time that our Savior Jesus Christ returns. till then, in case you opt for to have interaction, you'll be sure to a by no skill ending conflict, because the lack of understanding will be with us till eventually the end. Love the guy interior the reflect and then positioned your energies into an priceless pastime, like being a mentor and party to a gentle individual like your self who faster or later may face an identical conflict. With the ability they study from you, it could be different for them too. a lot less battling, extra inner power. Sound hokey? ok, then save laying off blood. faster or later, you'll run out.

Education is the best defense, here, also be aware that people will try to use racism as a method to get other people fired at their jobsite. Keep it professional, don't lose your cool, and deal with others as best you can. If you work with jerks, though, might start thinking about a new job...

You played into the person's hand. Try to learn to frustrate those people by not responding like they want you to do. If you can do that, you'll win and they'll lose and they'll likely run away in the frustration of not being able to upset you.

That's how you can best defend yourself in the vast majority of cases, guaranteed.

Like we say here, $hit happens!

First of all, try to talk your way out of this mess.

Apologise to the dyke and try to get the action stopped.

Then start looking for another job, pronto.

If that fails, you'll need the anti-Discrimination Tribunal. That's a bit iffy, though.

Merry Christmas!!!!

Oh God, if you are living in the US, then you can do something. It is illegal in the US to create an atmosphere of racism within corporate organizations.

If they continue with thier actions, you better get a laywer.

If you lost your temper, others will remember that even more than the comment which set you off. Unfair as that may be, that is how many will perceive it.
