I swear, I bought 2 packs of pens and a pack of 20 lighters, and I can't find either to save my life!

I know, but when it comes to pens, I'll pick up any that I see that is gel, a pretty color, or just looks cool. I have about 50 pens, and half of them don't even work. I loose my lighters all the time. My husband is worse about it though, he'll leave for work with 3 lighters and come back with none. I end up finding them weeks later in pockets or behind the bed, or under the couch, or in the couch cushion. It's just a thing. Unexplained. The 8th world wonder.

there are 2 kinds of ppl in this world as i have observed since the bic lighter and cheap pens have been introduced into main stream america,,,,, ppl with MANY lighters and pens ,,,,,And those of us WITHOUT (as you casuelly lone a pen or lighter watch CAREFULLY what transpires THEN get it back ,,and put that individuel ON YOUR WATCH LIST,,, or if your like me i just take them so for granted i need to buy enough to have some any where i am in the home or at work

I can't remember how many times I have gotten to my car at the Doctors office and had to take their pen back.

LOL---Join the crowd--It's a habit to put those types of things in your pocket. Even if the person lending it to me says--I want that back after your done---in my pocket it goes---

lol you are so right. It doesn't matter how many pens I buy, usually they have all disappeared when I really need one.

When I was a teenager, my family actually owned a windsurf board and sail, manufactured by Bic... it even had the Bic logo... I kid you not. "Coffee, tea or a flick of my Bic?"
