You have alot to learn about the writing skill. I don't try to be an expert but I do know some stuff.

Buy Writers' Market. It has articles about getting published and writiing query letters, along with TONS of agents, publishers, small presses, and magazines that are looking for freelance writers. It costs about $20 but its worth it.

Also, don't write because you want to make money. Its not that easy and the chances of getting a book published aren't high especially if you haven't been published before.

You REALLY need to make your writing perfect. Spell things correctly, use proper grammar, seperate things into paragraphs and sentences etc.

Enter contests to boost your career if you are serious about this stuff. Agents and publishers will look twice at your story if you have won an award for writing.

Its hard. Alot of people WANT to be writers but not alot ARE writers. Hope this helps!

It all depends upon how many copies are sold. Depending upon the publisher, authors get 10% or less of the cover price for each book sold. So if they charge $7 for the paperback, you get about .70 per book sold.

You're better off writing short stories and articles - you can get paid by the word sometimes, or a flat fee. You can also build a reputation that way, which might help you to negotiate more money when you publish a book.

Don't write because you need extra money, write because you NEED to put words on paper.

If you want to earn money writing, try doing articles about things you know for magazines. Many accept free lance pieces, but do research and see what they want. Or if you want to writer fiction, do a short story and try to get it in a magazine, some pay well, some not at all. But again do the research and read the magazine so you know what they want to see.

You will also need to refine your writing skills. Talk to others in the business. Its not a quick money source, nor is it easy. Good luck.

hmmmm, well even though skinny is the new fad supposedly, just b/c of what celebs are doing, thats hurting the younger generations though. Meaning being bony and having to go to a facility and be helped. But nowadays i see average size teenage boys with some cute, or beautiful big girls and i think that's hot though, my opinion. But honestly if i was back as a teen, like i used to be and this is how i used to be, i would rather be my own person and not try to be like a celeb and skinny and all that, its just not worth to try and hurt yourself. I would prefer average size teenage boys with the healthy thick, meat on the bones, big girls instead of the skinny ones. Thats just me tho.

The cost of publishing it will be more than what you will get paid. Unless you write like Hemingway, of course.
