Whats so good about Singapore...?
What is there to do there?
Is the shopping good?

The food! If u're the adventurous type, you'll love the food cos we have so many different cultures here! Leave out the classy restaurants, ask the locals, where's the nearest hawker centre. That's where you'll find all the goodies! :)
Shopping is another attraction cos they say Singapore's a shopper's paradise. But if you've been to HK, then, you'll find SG a tad less interesting. Still, check out Orchard Road (the main shopping belt), Bugis Village and the newly open VivoCity.
Of cos besides food and shopping, we have the attraction of the many cultures. Check out the Tourism board, they have a heritage trail package, if I'm not wrong. Take the Duck Tour (Suntec City) and see the Xmas light up if you're coming in December! Although late Dec and early Jan is most likely the rainy season, but it's when you'll see the brightest spirit of the country as the people seep into the holiday season :)

Singapore is all about FOOD and SHOPPING! That's like, our national pastime. I can't even begin to tell you how much you will simply adore the lifestyle here. Every month, we always come up with some excuses for sales. E.g. Christmas Sale, Boxing day sale, Chinese New Year sale, Big Singapore Sale, Closing down sale, Renovation Sale, just-because-we-feel-like-it Sale.

Anytime is a good time to come to Singapore, my dear. Singapore has no seasons, remember? Late Dec to early Jan is Christmas, so you will see lots of nice decorations on Orchard rd. This year's spectacular!

Sg is an amusement with a death sentence.
Everything around is amusing like in wonderland but breaking the law be ready for the severe punishment. Safe and sound, Orderly and organised.
Just like any other cities,late Dec to early Jan is always a great time to shop. Massive crowd around,can be very irritating for some and fun for others. At this period, forget about the attractions, shopping and night life is where you should be. New Year countdown, soaked yourself wet and wild foam party at Sentosa. An annual event that will last you till morning. Enjoy!!

Hi... I'm a Singaporean. And I'm having spending my time here! I have enjoyed my shopping trip to the Mall. Recently, they have officially open a humongous shopping mall... Its located at Harbourfront. Its called "Vivo City". From shoes, clothes, accessories, electrical appliances, kids stuff and much more. We have got boutique like Zara, Topshop, Guess, Adidas and many more. There's also some grt sight-seeing place for u to discover. We have got a small island called 'Sentosa', there's many things u could do and see. We have beautiful resort in that particular island too. For Dec, we having some grt sales in town. And best part is, the town is filled with beautiful decor(it has always been my fav). Hope this little info would help u. Gd LuCk!!

You can take a walk around the HDB flats in singapore. It may sound amusing, but as a Singaporean, I feel that our HDB flats are very unique in this world.

For a real experience of how living in Singapore is like, you can take the MRT to the residential neighbourhoods like Bedok, Tampines or Clementi.

yes singapore is a great destination for shopping.
you cAN GO TO orchard road,mustafa,chinatown,suntec city mall for shopping.
also there is sentosa island which has an underwater world and is a really beautiful palce.
you can also take a cruise from singapore.
