I work as a server at benngians. And i have servered and bartended in multi different places. Why is stereo-typing so true?
For example, In all the years I have server why is it black people tip so bad? I mean Ive only had 3 good black folk that tiped well. Is it because im white? Or are they all just cheap?

The stereotype is accurate as far as black people being lousy tippers. I worked as a bartender for several years. Blacks (especially women) are very demanding, and at times quite rude (basically because I'm white). Black men will tip if you gently remind them (sweetly, with a big smile), but black women have never tipped me, but will go out of their way to tip a lazy black cocktail server, just because she's black. Mexicans cannot afford to tip much, but they do tip. Working class Caucausions are the best tippers.

Black people LOVE strawberry/orange soada, Sprite, and Dr.Pepper. Sometimes when they used to order I would ask , orange soda? because you just KNOW they NEVER get COKE!
They are also very picky with cut this in half, no sauce on that, oh and they LOVE grilled onions, and pickles and strawberry milkshakes.
Yes and 99% of the time when they buy ciggaretes its Newports or Salem. They just LOVE menthol. No Marlboro reds for them!

It might be a little of both. I worked at this one bar with a black woman. We saw that when we waited on oppisite race we got less money in tips. We decided we would only wait on our race and see what happened. We both noticed we recieved more tips when we waited on our own race. We were not being racist, we were just getting better tips.

No, the stereotypes at the instant are not actual. that's the section you have been in. i'm black and that i'm not rude, i've got on no account stolen something from anybody in my finished existence (not even grapes from a food market) and that i consistently pass away a minimum 15% tip, often 20%. My relatives are the same and that i've got a number of black acquaintances who're basically like me. You mentioned your self "maximum (not all)" in a single specific section and recognised that the place you grew up you on no account observed it. does not that inform you that the stereotypes at the instant are not actual?

Yup, It's true. They need to save that extra money for crack and Newport's. Oops is that another stereotype. Black people are just as racist and prejudice as everyone else, we all have our tendencies to judge other races of people. Behind closed doors blacks call white people cracker and honky, and that is just as racist as saying the n word.

its true, i was told straight out by multiple black people that they are cheap and you will hardly ever find a black person that tips well.
Went out and ate dinner with many a black folk and they made better than me yet i still tipped better than them. For which they laughed and joked about.

It is most likely your attitude people can see through phonies fairly easy and the wording in your details (3 good black folk); says you are a racist. Now you have been stereo-typed as a racist.

they think they dont need to tip u, because maybe your relatives are someway connected with slavery. lol, they think u owe them.

i agree with jake i was a server and i remember, serving a bunch of black guys.(repeat customers).and they were nice, but they tipped a black waiter more..on more than one occasion..because we joked about it....i think blacks are more racist than whites..by far
