Well, a condom will desensitize a man somewhat- it's a barrier between his flesh and hers, meaning that there's less direct friction. However, there's never been a man out there who simply couldn't get enough gusto going to ejaculate- you still get good, great sensations and orgasm with a condom. Mostly, it just slows you down a bit- which is a good thing for a lot of premature ejaculators and men who would like to last longer. If I had to peg the percent of pleasure lost by using a condom for men, I'd say it was only around 2-5%, although most men conflate that number. Honestly, it barely makes a difference if you're doing things right.

For a woman, the sensations are pretty much exactly the same.

But you should always wear a condom, to prevent against disease and pregnancy (unless those are your goals).

Not really less pleasure, just a couple extra steps that's all. But seriously, I recommend the Trojan Magnum. A little more comfortable. Don't buy the cheap ones, they're too tight.

i wouldn't know i'm a condom nazi, as an hiv prevention instructor for the red cross and volunteer for an hiv clinic, i'm appalled and infuriated at the cavalier attitude people have towards hiv these days. everyone thinks oh i get sick i'll take the cocktail no biggie. stupid dumb asses, it doesn't work for everyone and the meds are like 2 to 3 thousand dollars a month. this is a totally preventable disease, we should not be having new cases with all the information available today!
