TOO SOON

2006-12-10 08:46:02 · answer #1 · answered by smitty 7 · 0 0

It's too soon to tell. A lot of the big stars are doing their thing but aren't blowing anyone away at this point to show that they are the MVP. Steve Nash is the reigning MVP and he hasn't done anything to lose his title. His performance a few days ago against the Nets was stellar. The game before against Sacramento he dominated with his passing alone with 20 assists and he's statistically having a career year even better than his previous MVP seasons. Until someone steps it up over the rest of the season and takes the title, my vote goes to Nash.

If you base it on the true meaning (most valuable player), at this point of the season, it is Yao Ming. He is the best center in the NBA. He can dominate the paint. No one man can cover him, and when he draws double-coverage, he opens up others, like Tracy McGrady, Shane Battier, Rafer Alston, and Luther Head. He makes his team and his teammates better. And unlike most big men, he can shoot free throws. He even shoots technicals. How many other teams have their center shooting technicals?

if you are going for the most valuable player, then you have to go with Carmelo anthony because he is torching teams with 30 pts per game, and the nuggets wouldnt' have a single win without him.
check this out... in the game that he was ejected, the nuggets go blown out
