The Moody Blues. They wrote that terrible song in which "satin" occurs.

That lady from that Christian TV channel who's hair is white as rice, high as a mountain, and her makeup is outta control...what was her name again?

...not that she's satin. I can just picture her saying "get behind me satin" in her accent.

hah, wow, you sound a bit angry :( I think of the color red first, then i think of confusion. I was told by a man, and i read some stuff about it, that satin, In christain Mythology, was actually the angel closest to God. He loved God so much that God one day decided to test him by having him stay away from him. Satan never returned. Even if this is not true, i feel there is confusion with satan in christianity because he seems to be hated by christians, when christians should love him equally to anyone else, and the people that worship him. This is what their religion preaches. They should want to help these people with compassion, and not want to make war on them with sword, gun, or bomb.

Seriously, the description I have got from all the religious stuff around me makes this image of darkness and burning eyes and stuff - they come to my mind.
I am trying to imagine a smiling satin...

red, soft, silky. . . . . .
shall I go on?
It's my bedtime.
I was so poor growing up, I thought satin was my moma's slip (garmet under a shirt to free static cling) wrapped up in the bedsheets!
