God does talk to us THROUGH his inspired word, The Bible.
When that which is perfect is come, that which is in part shall be done away. 1 Corinthians 13.
When Jesus came, and died, and rose again, then ascended back to heaven...THAT WHICH IS PERFECT HAD COME.
Now God speaks through his word.

Well, all the evangelists are running free....
No offense - but aren't they the ones who claim they have been spoken to by God?
