Well formed question. I like when people take the time to explain their problem clearly before asking other people to take the time to answer.

I'll assume that you are unable to use your phone, and are seeing a request for a PUK code on the handset when you power up.

Many GSM carriers put a unlock code on the SIM cards they sell. When you power up the phone, it asks you the 4 digit code to the SIM card.

If you enter the wrong code ~3 times, the SIM card assumes you are an illegitimate user, and locks itself. To unlock a SIM card in this state, you will need the PUK code. Another code which is a second-level emergency key. This PUK code is often written on the materials you got when you first got your GSM account. Check the credit-card sized card the SIM was in, then check the paper the card was glued to, then check other original documents. If you can't find the PUK code, you will need to contact the carrier to get it, or get a new SIM card.

You will get the PUK code from your customer care executive. He will tell the code for ur cell but he will ask the number of your SIM card before telling it. It's not the mobile number. You will get it on your SIM. probably a 14 digit number. So firstly copy the number and call the CC executive and ask him the number

lol i've done this quite alot of times...only thing you have to do is call the company and ask them for a code..it's a unique code that changes within the phone and company..best thing to do..wait until tomorrow to call the company..don't try to guess..seriously, only thing u'll do is lock the simcard (burn/fry) it..oh yeah, and if you already entered the wrong number u might as well just stop by any store and buy a new sim card...not the best thing to do but, it's easier than breaking ur head against something out of reach...best of luck
