Can i knit??

Question

I want to make my hobby knitting!!!
i knew about the websites which tell kniting by vedios but i have slower internet connection so i want websites which tell us knitting by pictures and photos!!

and please tell me what is purl and croutch!!!

Try this website. IT has a lot of good info. You can get booklets at the yarn store or books at the library to teach you how to knit. Or just find someone who is knitting. They will be happy to teach you.

A purl stitch is the reverse of a knit stitch. The yarn is in front of the work and the stitch is worked from the inside instead of the outside. Never heard of croutch. if you mean crochet, then this site will help you too.

I'll warn you--you may have to check a video for purling. It's nearly impossible to get from pictures....

Purl is one of the two basic stitches, knit and purl.

I think you can. pictures are tough to follow, video is better, chk craft store or walmart craft dept. they have a cd rom from coates and clark which is great ... i used that to learn. It can cost 30 usually 20 but I found it for under 10 ... ebay link has the one with blue cover for 3.00.
