By working hard I mean putting much effort and time into work.
The question is for people who worked both in the USA and in another country (name it).

Who knows for sure? But you asked the exact question that someone else asked except she said Americans do not work hard. Don't know if you saw it and tried to switch it up, but just wanted to let you know. As for those people who America is lazy, just stop and worry about yourselves. You have no idea how hard I (or anyone) works so give it up please. Its not your problem. And just to be snotty, if America didn't work hard, why are we the "powerhouse" of the world. Maybe the Americans don't have to work hard because we made the world the way we wanted it. Isn't it everyone's dream to be rich and not work? That doesn't mean we're lazy, it means we got there faster...

I haven't worked outside the U S but I can tell you it's all a matter of the individual person.
I work hard and I actually work while at work. But I've seen many people that like to stand around and do nothing while getting paid for it, or sit down while working and get behind on their jobs when standing would allow them to work up to the production speed that was required of the job.
So I believe it's an individual thing and not so much of a 'country' thing.

No, when I went overseas to Jebel Ali in the United Arad Emirates, there in Dubai was a giant unpopulated city that was built over 10 months... and it was already filled with more than 70 buildings that were 20 stories high or even more, or several square miles.

It takes that long for them to make a building in the states.

No....the US has a booming economy with having the most powerful currency, the US dollar...

In addition to that, the country has a low poverty rate than any other country...

The US is not included in the list as the top10 early bird countries...most of these countries have a large and fast labor force...the US mostly rely on machines

It is because of our beliefs and how we were raised.

Africa, Ireland, France, Japan, Spain etc. etc.

Japanese are not the hardest workers.
