dont worry. when you take birth control it changes your hormones. when you start it it is supposed to be started the sunday after your period is finished. since you didnt complete a full cycle you might experience additional periods even when your not due. that is your hormones going back to the state it was. no your not pregnant but be careful because when u stop taking the pill you are more at risk of getting pregnant. yasmin is very good it is a low dose of hormones and if it works for you i would continue to take it. any time you stop a pill you will experience spotting as your body adjusts. being moody and gaining weight are common side effects of the pill dont be surprised. but it all falls into place.dont be surprised if it lasts longer than normal either.

Yes, this is probably because of the birth control. What are you thinking only taking it for 2 days? Did you know that side effects disappear? How do you even know that it was the birth control causing your supposed moodiness if you were only taking it for two days? It was most likely something else causing your moodiness. If you were serious about going on birth control, you would be responsible about it, know the side effects, know that most side effects disappear within the first 3 months, be willing to deal with that, know that if the side effects are too much you can switch brands after talking to your doctor and you'd also know that birth control changes your cycle and stopping it midpack is irresponsible.
Taking it because all your friends are taking it or for whatever reason, is not responsible. Be an adult. Do not just stop taking medication like that. Birth control effects your cycle. Oh and by the way, irregular bleeding is rarely ever a sign of pregnancy, but can be a sign of infection or an STI. Talk to your doctor!

You hear about the side effects for every medication that has an advertisement on the televison, and all the side effects sound awful. Check out the actual percentage risks, however. Most of the side effects of birth control pills have to do with smoking, or with pre-existing medical conditions, not just with the pill. That said, of course there are side effects. But there are benefits. In a relationship where both have tested free of disease, it makes using condoms unnecessary, and allows sometimes for more spontaneous interactions. For some women, it can be used to regulate menstrual cycles and make them less painful. For others, there's the convenience of being in control of their own birth control choices. Condoms aren't for everyone, so it's a good thing there are alternatives. Just remember that only condoms have a chance of preventing transmission of STD's, and even that is still listed under the fine print as not 100% reliable.

Being on Yasmin for only 2 days when you should have been ovulating and then stopping should not result in a real period. Why did you start mid cycle anyway? That is completely misusing the drug. Go see your Gynie for a checkup, or even call and ask their nurse. BCP's set up artificial hormonal cycles in your body. 2 days should not be enough for you to get withdrawl bleeding as the cycle was not set up. I would say anything is possible, but please call your doc to be on the safe side. Your fertility is not something to mess about with, best to be safe.

after you stop talking any kind of birth control most women bleed and have irregular periods for a few months after the stop. it takes awhile for the b.c. to fully leave your body. i had a depo shot and even though i did not have a period while i was on it,i wish i never got that shot it was horrible!!! i had a miscarriage and thinkin with my emotions i got the shot. that was the biggest mistake ever! it made me horribly depressed and moody. i soon found out that some women have had to be admitted into mental wards becuz of the side effeccts, and i gained 25lbs in 3 mths. so women have no prob. with the shot, but i really did and after the shot wore off,i had 10 periods in 3 1/2 months.i also found out that takin any kind of b.c. increases your chance of getting cancer by 80%. i know the b.c. is so much better than anything else, but there r other options and most b.c r goin to make u moody.

yes birthcontrol pills change chemistry of humanbody
when you start taking them they change your body cycle for ovulation and when you stop taking them the body pertains to come to normal overcoming the effect of medicine and hence you may expect 2-3 precycle ovulations.
