I saw a recipe a while back that you watered your xmas tree with and now I cant find it! Does anyone know one, it was something like a gallon of water, a small amount of bleach, maybe sugar or 7 up, something like that. I'd like to know that one, but if anyone has one that they use every year and makes their tree last forever Im open to suggestions!

I use a mixture of sugar and water to keep my tree as fresh as the day that i bought it. and i usually keep my tree up untill NEW YEAR'S DAY.......i mix 1 gallon of water with 3/4 cup of sugar....
and make sure that you completely dissolve the sugar into the water.....and keeping the mixture of the sugar water in the refrigerator is a must.....try this recipe....i know that you will like it.......works for me every year!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7 Up works great, as well as any sugary water. Do NOT use bleach!
