I'm curious as to why this ridiculous fighting between parties is still going on. It's like you people (both sides) are cheering for some pro sports teams. You better wrap your heads around the possibility that if we back out of this war or "exit gracefully" as some call it, we are in for some times you cannot even begin to imagine.

This is nothing remotely similar to Viet Nam. Not even close. We back out and mark these words, the radical arm of the Islamic faith is going to amaze you with their precision and prove that they have what Bin Laden said America did NOT have. And that is the stomach to go all the way in a fight.

Your fighting is serving no purpose of note. Both parties have screwed the pooch in a major way and have let the citizens of this country down. The ISG has released a report that will, if followed, take this country the last 5 miles down the road to ruin. And understand this, my opinions on this come from one who will not affiliate officially with either party bias. I love my homeland, I served my time for her and would do it again if possible. I have 3 beautiful grand kids, and I am truly fearful for their future as Americans.

Fighting over IF we should have gone into Iraq is, at this point, both stupid and foolish. The real issue is that we are there now and must finish what we started. If we don't, the cost will be more than any of us would want to pay in the long term.

They have other priorities that military service?

It's unfortunate. Let's hope they actually find a way to end the war and accomplish something positive there.

It's really too bad that Bush hasn't caught Bin Laden.

Because they are Americans, just like the Democrats.
Americans are arrogant sons of *****. We never admit mistakes. Did We admit it was a mistake to invade vietnam. Did we admit the mistake in interferring with the Russian invasian of Afghanistan. Did we admit to the mistake in invading Haiti. No. We need to be always right , so we could continue being the self appointed policemen of the world.

Because they have blind pride, and an obsession to be right and appeal to the majority of the country's people. They won't admit anything that could make them look bad. Even though not admitting makes them look even worse.. They hang onto ridiculous ideals and false pretenses long after it's become unpopular and proven wrong..

I am a conservative and admit there were mistakes. Is that what you mean by "screwd up". Needless to say, you see things in the extreme.

They can't stand the idea that they started this war on a lie and can't seem to find a solution to end it .

Why don't democrats admit that Bush was right and that we have a problem with the Islamists that we need to deal with.

Because they're in denial! Too autocratic, and anal retentive to accept failure...
