now that identity theft is so common, i am having a hard time getting my id since i lost my purse, any help?

unfortunately i have no backup records whatsoever and have run into the problem that both birth cert. and social sec card require id to reissue what can i do no family to request either, no id at all help??!!

I've been fighting this for over 10 years now. Iv' even hired attorneys and still no help. now since 9-11 it's even worse.
