There is not one Islamic nation which is not involved in some kind of conflict. Part of the problem is that people are now afraid to talk about or criticise Islam for fear of being accused of racism. Look at all the nonsense regarding the veil debate. Islam is a very insular religion to start with, and it perceives itself, rightly or wrongly, as under attack from "the west"
Part of the problem is not that Islam itself is at war with the west, but that people hijack the religion and do things in the name of Allah. For example, 9/11,Islam itself does not approve of killing of innocent people, but because the hijackers, and the Lonodon bombers were Muslim, this breeds the conflict, but as usual the west directs its revenge in the wrong direction

Your statement is wrong. Why you single out Islamic Nations for conflicts. The fact is that all the World wars are started by European or American Nations. And even now only nation which is in conflict with some nation or other is USA. (I am neither a Muslim nor I live in an Islamic Nation)

You've misinterpreted the word Nation, which should mean "a group of people with a common cultural heritage and value system"
Take a look at the UK - we're a diverse group of tribal groupings who have agreed to co-operate for the good of all. The Welsh are a nation, Wales is a piece of land delineated by lines on a map.
Us brits still fight amongst ourselves, but fortuately it's usually "ritual battles" fought on sports fields - If Scotland play England at Rugby U we both get very partisan, but if GB plays Aus at Rugby L, we all support the "British" team.
If you're referring to somewhere like Iraq - that country does not have only one nation inside the lines drawn on the map, but of course the West is trying to impose upon them the Holy Grail of Democracy - not all of them want it.
