Good God.......no, no, no !

Whats gone is gone and there is nothing you can do to change it.

If you spend all your time thinking about what might have been, you will miss the new possibilities and potentials that are arising all the time in your life.

Plenty of things have passed me by (I should have been a millionairre by now), but if I sit around moping about it, I won't get off my bum and do something to change it, will I ?

Everyone has their own way of grieving. I know some people who got 2 pups right after their old dogs died because they could not stand the silence and inactivity in the house. My own mother said, "No more pets." But a few years later she had a small dog for companionship. Desperate attempts are usually marked by heavy use of alcohol, drowning in their sorrows with drugs, generally just sitting on a pity pot. But adopting another dog is a sign that the first or prior relationship was good.

No.

We can not change the past, but we should learn from it.

If I had it to do over again, I might make a different choice but bear in mind, we don't know how this new path will turn out ... I might end up worse off.

I did what I thought was right for me ... I have no problem living w/ this.
