A house... I live in a terrible one bedroom duplex right now. It's super tiny but we can't afford more right now. I'd love having a kitchen with room to actually cook and the extra space and bedrooms so my husband has more room for his computer business.

An excellent self-sustainable property: A few acres of good land with a year-round spring/stream, mature fruit trees, good soil for gardens, alternate energy, and cabins for me and my friends and family to share.

I would make low risk investments. I would then live on $30,000 a year where I live in Mexico. I would continue to work at my rewarding but low paying job.

I would put myself through veterinary school. Not having to worry about where it's going to come from or having to pay it back would be great.
