I personally feel that posting ads in auction site is a passive way of selling to a certain extent.
You put your ad in then wait and wait, agreed?

Why not try my way, a more active way.

To prevent copy cats, I will email you what I did.
I promise this will not spam others and I see result myself.

I just checked and there is a craigslist.org in Singapore.
I've been using it in NYC for 5 yrs or more and don't know how I ever lived without it!!
Everything but real estate postings by RE agents, is FREE.

I do not know how long craigslist has been in Singapore?
But after a while it catches on.
Of course, NYC has a big population so many many people use craigslist.

Try posting what you'd like to sell (make sure it's in the right catagory) and see what happens ... you have nothing to lose because it's FREE.

Make sure that your email is anonymous to begin with, so you don't get emails from crazy people who will just bother you to death! Ask (in the ad) for replies with a phone number. This way you know the person is really interested in what you have to sell.

Good Luck & enjoy exploring craislist!

Like they said: Ebay.

You don't need credit because as long as you have cash you can operate on a "paypal" payment system.

Read about it on eBay, their description is adequite.
