The security system is 'seeing' a condition it does not like such as wrong ignition key being used. I believe your car uses the PassKey II system. Is your ignition key badly worn? There should be a black 'pellet' embedded in the key itself which the system 'reads' when you insert it into the ignition. If the pellet contacts are really worn down the security system may not be able to 'see' or 'read' the key and it won't allow the car to start. If you have had a spare key made with the wrong type of pellet or none at all the car won't start with those either. The pellet reader in the ignition may be worn also. There are many reasons why the system may not work, these are only a few.

For some reason your car believes someone is trying to steal it. This could be because of many reasons, though. It kinda depends on what you did before trying to start it. If you didn't do anything out of the ordinary, than it's just a malfunction... but if you did anything resembling someone breaking into the car, thats how your car recognized it, so yeah. I can't tell you much unles I know more.
