When I browse the CD-ROM using Windows XP, it doesn't show me the large files which contain the music. How can I grab only the specific music tracks for burning later?

Use Nero 6 or above to rip the music. Even WIndows Media player 10 and 11 can rip the audio music from a CD to the hard disk.

If running a Windows OS you can use Windows MediaPlayer. I would upgrade to version 9 if you haven't already. Put CD in the drive and open MediaPlayer then you can copy the tracks or entire CD to your hard drive as MP3's.
