there is no visa needed to travel among asian countries. it is depend on how u want to go to indonesia . by air or by sea. by air u can take Silk air to Jakarta or Medan or Surabaya. set ur destination first. and look on what dates u go to indonesia. High season should be expensive to use air ticket.
if u intend to go by sea u can go thru ferry to Batam, it is only 15-30 mins trips (depend on the ferry) and then when u reach Batam city, there are ALOT of travel agency would love to arrange for u the tour around Indonesia .
do tt way to to Malaysia. the nearest should be Johor Bahru then take 4 hour trips by car to KL city and there u can arrange city tour or any place u want to go.just need enough MONEY to do so LOL
so just welcome to indonesia or Malaysia. no problem with the Visa. just indonesian people are sucker than malaysian

Well, for Singaporeans, we usually take a bus to Malaysia from Woodlands Bus Interchange. Straightforward, right?
As for Indonesia, we take a ferry from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal(usually for Bali, Bintan or Batam). You can also take the plane. Simple, enough?
No need for a visa.

You just need a passport to visit. For daytrip to other ASEAN countries no need for visa if you are a southeast asian. For non-southeast asian, please check with the embassy of your destination in your location for info.
For Batam and Bintan, take the penguin ferry for a smoother ride to the two destination. For Malaysia, you can take a bus ride to major destination like KL (approx. 6 - 9 hrs), Penang (approx 12-15hrs), Melaka (approx. 1hr.) etc.

OK.
First, you have to have your passport with you. Second, you need to have some $$$ to buy either a bus ticket, a train ticket, a ferry ticket or an airline ticket. Then ride either one of those mentioned that is bound for either Malaysia or Indonesia.
Thats it.

Your passports will suffice. There are travel agents in Singapore or check with Singapore Airlines.
