I don't know if 'love' is the right word. I am a teacher and I like my class - every child. I enjoy teaching them and they enjoy being in my class. I care about my class and I try to ensure that they are all happy and safe. But to say I love them would be overstepping the teacher pupil boundaries.

I personally believe that some teachers and students can form a good relationship and this is a true relationship!! However I do know that some teachers do not like all of their students but they are not going to show this to the student and will pretend that they like them as there is nothing else that they can do!!

Despite our students' lack of common sense when it comes to using the "check spelling" feature, we do really love them.

I used to feel guilty when I honestly didn't "like" a student, but I found that by the end of the year, I LOVED the kid. It takes time to build a relationship of trust, but it doesn't take long to love a child.
