i would hide it cuz the cops wont believe u didnt kill the person the cops dont believe anything any person says

While I do not (cannot) trust the folk of law enforcement ( a very long story ) ... I do have respect for the uniform and what those folk are working for. I Do Believe in them and what they stand for!
They mean well and are proceeding their investigation according to the law!
Unfortunately, it is not always a good thing for the innocent!
So, I just found a corpse in my backyard ... Did I know the person? Were we friends or otherwise? How long was it there? Can I simply roll the corpse into my neighbor's yard? Was the dead body human?
Generally speaking, I (would like to) think most of us would notify law enforcement, Afterall, we have nothing to hide!
Then again, I have been burned once in my lifetime and am not so eager to work with the Police again! They might mean well but ... We are all suspect to the police, even if innocent!

If the cops don't believe every thing you say ... Call the police ...and say there is a dead body in my back yard
and that you kill him and put him there ..then they wont believe you......

Oh geez. First I would make sure the person was really dead. Then i would probably cover it up with something so my dogs wouldn't get at it, then call 911. Then I would say a prayer for the persons family.

Hiding the body will raise more suspicions; I will call the cops. Remember, you are innocent until proven guilty.

being a responsive citizen of this country i will immediately report to the cops even if they suspect me that im the one whos responsible.. truth shall prevail and im not afraid because its pity to see the dead victim lying on your own backyard.

I would call the police.
If neighbor sees you move the body, but they never see a police car, they will call the police themselves and tell them what they saw. Then you will be arrested for sure.

If you hide it, you ARE committing a crime and then the cops won't believe anything from you!

well for me i`ll call the CSI they could know who killed the human at your backyard then when they know who killed the dead body they could tell the police then the police will believe them.

I'd go through his pockets, see if he's got some cash, because he owes me for being ignorant and dying in my yard.
Then Id call the law.
