Two people recommended toothpaste on my severly scracthed Swap Magic.
I really want to know if this really lessen these scratches because it takes a while to load it, and I don't want to buy a new one and i don't want to buy a scratch remover, and I already tried burning it! whoever really did this a lot of times gets the best answer.

I AM LOOKING FOR EXPIERIENCES WITH DVD, NOT CD!!

White toothpaste. Smear it gently onto the disk, but not in circular motion; in lines starting from the center raying out. But only white toothpaste. It'll fix the minor scratches, and if you do it right [even a couple times], it'll get rid of the problem.

the placement toothpaste does is that it an abrasive and it acts like a gentle sandpaper to rubdown some thing else of the disk to get it to an identical aspect of the scratches. If the scratch is only too deep then it received't paintings. in case you nonetheless are having a difficulty with the disk then a GameStop or an identical gaming save can "resurface" the disks for a sensible cost.

Yes, it will also work on any cds or dvds. Just put a really small amount. It won't work on deeper scratches. Just wipe it in the straight line from the center of the disc out. Don't use a circling motion.
