Magick is the craft (not quite art, definately not science) of causing changes in your world to match your will.
That's not your want or your wish, but your 'Will'.
It has a 'k' on the end not only to differentiate from sleight-of-hand illusionists, but because the numerological meaning of the word 'magick' is far more powerful and effective than 'magic'.

The process is fairly simple,

you express the change you desire in a present-tense statement that you can put your full focus on,, then you energize it, or get passionate about it,, and then you let go of it completely.

Simple to talk about, often difficult to do, but have you ever been doing work that you didn't want to,
suddenly exclaimed: "I am SO tired of this!", gotten irritated that you were still required to work, let a few minutes go by, thought ' Oh Well!'.....and then suddenly you felt really tired?

That's Magick!

Magick is spelled this way by modern practitioners to differ from stage or performance magic practiced by illusionists. it has many definitions but usually it means to cause change to occur in accordance with the will you can learn to change an event or situation or you can change a person such as yourself or others but mostly it will be a very subtle change such as you feel more motivated to workout or someone you like develops strong feelings for you were as they only liked you as a friend before. Despite what many magick practitioners believe you can develop special powers such as telekinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. It takes many years of study and practice> They may start off small but if you develop them they will get stronger and you may be able to demonstrate them to others but I wouldn't recommend that unless you can trust them or you are in danger and your power can help you some how.

Its a BS spelling by wiccans and druids. The truth is that most of the knowledge of magic was lost because of a lack of written records and the druid traditions were oral. They spell it different today because they do not want to be confused with magicians. The funny thing is that druid and wiccan magic is very elementary because their art was lost. Druids and witches publish books every year about MAGICK, but its mostly BS. I guess there could be a handful of pagans that can actually manipulate their enviorment. FEW and far between.

magick is magic. It's all the same thing. There is no need to spell it differently than the actual word unless you just want to look cool and make your friends think you know more than them.

People will tell you there are all sorts of skittle colored, taste the rainbow, flavors when using magic, but in essence....magic is just a tool. A person uses it just like a shovel or a key for a car.

If prayer is the faith of Christianity
-then-
spells are the magic of Paganism.
