I just had this same conversation with a friend this morning. Up until July I was a major asker/answerer on this site. Then something just "happens" and you realize....... it's time. I have cut back so much. I don't know half the people that hang out here anymore.... I just kind of come and go and meet new faces and mourn the loss of so many many more. But the point is...... my time here slowly fades. But there are those that keep me here.....and always will. And new faces such as yours give me hope.
Let's make a deal..... I don't let you leave if you don't let me. *wink*

it all depends on the situation, if I am there at a girls party and it is her place, I may leave after breakfast the next morning...
if it is just some ones party, and things seem to be winding down, I go say my good byes, to the host and some special ones ( hoping maybe they will say, your leaving, then I say what to go some where, and they say yes) so I do this way before the party comes to an end..but I always say thanks , give hugs and kisses and say bye..
then leave and if I am taking part of the party with me, it could end on Monday morning ( from Friday night)

If you are hurt, then wait and find someone new who cares but you can never fade away. You are unique and worth a lot. The right person will come some day so hang in there.

i fail in this area
usually let the circumstances build to a head and when they rech the cessation point we are both spit out of the volcano like unwanted lava.....
ideally i would just say ..*practice time*
"OK THAT'S IT! I AM OUT!" after about 7 attempts to make it work!

I believe that there come a time when you know there is nothing else you can do to make them love you.. To be with someone who doesnt have feelings for you I believe you know in your heart when it happens i have been there...
