Inner Light
Darmok
Yesterday's Enterprise
Best of Both Worlds I & II
Tapestry

Favorite moments: when the Enterprise-D blows up! :)

Inner Light - Picard is zapped by a probe and lives a full life with wife & family in the alien culture in a matter of minutes.

Darmok - an alien captain (who's language is based on metaphores) transports Picard & himself to a hostile planet in an attempt to force contact/communication.

Yesterday's Enterprise - semi-alternate universe with the Enterprise-C where Tasha Yar's still alive and the Federation is at war with Klingon Empire.

Best of Both Worlds I & II - major Borg encounter & Picard gets assimilated as Locutus of Borg.

Tapestry - Q offers a severely-wounded Picard an opportunity to change the choices he made in life, with consequences.

Anything with the borg and Q (walmart has all the episodes with those themes from all ST venues on DVD and yup i own them) Masks...when data was accessed by an ancient library and he became all the members of its society. I cant remember the name of it but the one where a probe gets ahold of picard and he lives out the final years of a planet whose sun is going nova. tapestry is wonderful get to see picard as a younger self. The very last episode was great! My favorite moments whew lots to name here....the episodes where picard is shown as human, he was so stoic, anything that showed his human frailties like when he was crying to his brother in the mud when he came home after being made borg..his brother was a jerk...when he was playing the flute like thing with that woman and she asked what song he was playing (from the episode with the probe last years of planet) distant look in his eyes he lived those years in his mind and that song meant something to him.
the episodes where data gets more from his search to be human then he expected...like Amok Time when Tasha gets data's fully functional line programed in multiple techniques. when he gets a girlfriend. and anytime he tries to relate to children.
Well those are just a few....I really like ST:TNG. I even used to read the books...I cant believe its been 20 years!

I love the episodes with Q.

I also love the episode where Captain Picard lived an entire lifetime in his mind with a family, etc. because an alien race wanted to preserve their culture. I can't remember episode names.
