That is a major job. You need a lift and an extensive tool collection to do it yourself.
Let's say you have access to that. Go to your library and check out a Chilton's manual for that car. They're great manuals and can give you the directions you need.
If you plan on doing a lot of work to the car, I recommend spending the $50 and buying that manual.

It would go something like this:
- Raise and support the Camaro on jack stands
- Remove the torque converter inspection cover
- Remove the three bolts from the torque converter to the flywheel
- Slide the torque converter back toward the transmission
- If you can reach them, unbolt the flywheel from the crank shaft
- If you can't reach them, support the motor by placing a support under the oil pan (like another jackstand with a block of wood)
- Unbolt and remove the driveshaft
- Unbolt the transmission cross member
- Unbolt the transmission from the engine
- Slide the transmission back to gain access to the flywheel bolts
- Install new flywheel
- Reverse the procedure. Torque to specifications and use some LocTite on the torque converter and flywheel bolts.
Plan to spend a day or two on this. Some bolts are really difficult to get to.

Get a manual....it will explain it all. Pull tranny (manual) for a flywheel replacement. If you are replacing the flex plate, then you may get away with just moving the tranny (automatic) rearward enough to swap out the flex plate.
