As far as I know phones are closed platforms and hence get around it by using Java, J2ME, and depending with Palm (OS <= 4 or OS 5, kinda like asking if it is Intel Mac Core Duo or older Motorola Macs)

If OS 5, there are options, buying a copy of IBM J2ME virtual platform (free for some devices) think it is $5. SuperWaba is another alternative, maybe better it is available with OS 4 and Pocket PC.

Definitely Text Twist! You'll be addicted to this game! And also Jamdat Bowling and Bubblebreaker.
