why british are so shy in nature ??

Because the invention of toothpaste didn't arrive in England till 1983. Thus, it's hard for them to smile with confidence, knowing the Americans are bound to say something funny or at least humorous. I think we should help the British, by sending over are used and newly bought electric toothbrushes. With instructions on how to use them daily. I also feel we should try to soothe their wounds over losing that battle in 1776. They gave it a nice try, but Mel Gibson in the end was drunk enough to take out all the redcoats without any fear of cannon fire.

I see you haven't interacted with many British people, haha. If you know of "chavs", you may not know exactly how non-shy they are. And most of the people I know aren't shy, I don't even know exactly where you're getting your information from about Britain.

They are not shy. They are cautious and smart before they interact with people.
