I have no problems finding the actual tank but I cannot find a tank cover for it.. any suggestions?

Pet supply store is where I got my tank lids. Also got "screen" cover lids there for my lizard tanks.
Petco, Pets Plus, Wal-mart. There are also "mom & pop" stores that stock fish stuff,... check your yellow pages and call around your local area.

A lot of the big name pet stores carry aquirium lids in several sizes. Or you can look in the phone book and call some of your local pet stores and see if they have what you're looking for.

You can buy a hinging glass top at a good pet store that sells fish supplies. At Wal-Mart you can buy a lighted hood cover at a higher price.

Home Depot or Mclendons or someone like that. It amy not be exactly like the original, like it may be stubby or tall, but they should have ones that would fit. At least they would know where to get one?!
