Yes, they can, if they're the same type of RAM (same speed and whatnot). Installing RAM is pretty simple - there's usually one RAM slot on the underside of your laptop, accessible with a little cover, and another one under your keyboard, which comes off with a few screws and a couple clips. Go to www.crucial.com and run the system scanner there to make sure his RAM will work in your computer.

First of all make sure your computer can support that type of ram there for go to the web site that company that made your computer and found out the spec on your computer at the same time it would tell you how to put ram in if it is possible.

Best bet is to go to someone who knows what they are doing. Its as easy as pulling (literally) the ram out of that comp and plugging it into yours. As others have said, whether or not it will work depends on the type of ram your laptop can run. DON'T TRY TO CHANGE IT UNLESS YOU KNOW FOR SURE.

If you decide to experiment, you can irrevocably damage your laptop.

Check www.crucial.com and see if the RAM that you have meets the specifications for your system.
