citibank will let you open an account online...if you open the ez checking, you can avoid monthly fees by either having your job direct deposit your paychecks, or using their website to send out 2 billpayments each month, or keeping a balance of 1,500..any of the three. you have 30 days to fund the account, but they most likely will check your credit, or at least checksystems, to see if you have a history of abusing bank accounts. you can get an e-savings account at the same time that has a really good interest rate, and no fees.

you have to have money to open an account...credit check...if you have the money they will open an account.....how they deal with you is by past history
