there are tons of places with more sophisticated clothes even for juniors, you just have to find the right ones. Unfortunately it's hard to find the right size for your style but all i can tell you is to find the right store and you'll do fine. NY & Company, or H&M or Kohl's..

Hun you really dont have to worry Iam a 27 years old proffesional female and still buy must of my clothing in the junior department. If you are small, there is no many options if you want to safe time looking every store. I totally understand you, much easier walking at at the juniors that walk all the mall trying to find the right store because if they have cloth for petite it will be limited collection not all designs...too much work. I like the "junior section" because has more trendy cloth (I dont mean sparkly etc, you just need to know what to pick from the department) I even buy sometimes my dressy pants from there and no one will ever tell. They do fit me better. Its not about the brand or the department you bought it from is more about if you have a good sense of fashion and know how to select themproperly for the ocassion.
For your future reference you can purchase very nice pair of jeans and pants at Gap, Express and The Limited but the price will go from $40-70 a pair.. nice fit and short lenght, you will love the pants .so its your choice. Also check at the mall, there is places that will have a petite option. Either way,be happy I am almost 10 years older than you and Iam happy with my junior cloth ! ;) take care hun

Everybody has different body shapes you might be slimmer than others. If you are really concerned than talk to your doctor they usaully have some good answers. Also , you can talk like a store worker that works in one of the places you shop. Also, I would love to be your size honey you should be proud of who you are and work what you got, come on you wear a size 2 you know how many clothes there are that are so pretty. Maybe you should try out new stores and search in the adults section. Clothes aren't always the size that they have printed on the label. I bought a size 6 but it was the same size as my size 4, every company has different sizes and fabrics just search around.

Unless you mean the 'Children' section, you shouldn't be worrying.
I'm 23 and I still shop in the Juniors or Misses department. I like the neat styles, and the sizes in most of these places range from 0-21.Like you, I like the look and way 'junior' clothes fit me, but you're not going to see me walking around in glitter jeans. You just may need to find a department store that offers clothing that better suits your taste.

Well.. I really do have to say that shopping in the juniors isn't THAT bad. If you like the clothing there shop there and also remember your a tiny person if that's what fits you go ahead! But sometimes u can wear a size zero in woman's department or size 1. If they still don't fit you maybe get them hemmed or some thing to make your outfit you think is cute fit! Don''t worry your not the only person who has this problem. Good Luck :)

Yes it is ok. I am 23 and same height as you, but a few sizes bigger, but junior clothes fit better. I think misses and womens' clothes are generally designed for a woman who has had a couple kids, has a little bit of loose skin in the abdomen and wants to wear looser clothing. So for us, juniors fits better.
Unfortunately, it seems like almost every store that divides into juniors and misses has a juniors section designed for 12 year olds, and a misses section designed for 40 year olds. I have found much better clothes at smaller stores that are made for us in between, including Gap, Urban Outfitters, Express, H&M, and other small mall stores. Boutiques also have good clothes but they are super expensive.

it is ok to shop in the juniors department as long as you are buying mature looking clothes. Actually, wear whatever you want, you (and me) are only 19 so who should really care what you wear? Just dress fashionably and no one will think about it.

Try shopping in the more upscale department store junior sections. I guess we all have problems when it comes to buying clothes. I have seen some gorgeous junior clothes in Macy's that don't have glitter all over them. JC Penney's also has a great junior dept. I buy my daughter-in-laws' clothes from those 2 stores and she loves them. She's in her mid 30's, btw and has 2 children & loves to dress very up-to-date and stylishly.
Good luck and Happy Holidays!

Skipped precise over the 0's and a million's and went in the present day to the three's. i did no longer have a curvy physique, so the clothing in high quality condition weird and wonderful, yet I suffered via for yet another year or 2 till I have been given the physique that would in high quality condition into those clothing. of direction, Hollister wasn't cool back then, so i did no longer have the ideas of their denims. and that i left the girl's branch at this variety of youthful age because of fact i replaced right into a corpulent baby till approximately seventh grade and that i replaced into truly tall, so it in basic terms did no longer in high quality condition.
