i put in my memory stick in my laptop and i put the pictures onand than i did this thing whare it says you can remove it now but u cant there no button and there no sign int my computers

If you did the "Safely Remove Hardware" thing, that's good, but your computer won't physically eject the card itself. If you're talking something like an SD card, sometimes you just yank them out, other times you push them in a little bit more and then it will pop back out. If its a CF card, just pull it straight out.

if using WinXP, you can simply yank the memory key out. You dont have to go through all the motions of getting the "it is safe to remove your device" message before taking the stick out.

For Windows:Find an Icon on Task bar "Safety remove hardware".Double click it then choose your device and click "Stop".Now you can saftly remove it. __ Just plug off__

ejecting it physically or by software?

if by software, go to my computer, right click on the icon for your memory stick and choose eject.

if physically, the same way you put it in, is most likely the same way you take it out, unless its spring loaded (push it in to put it in, push it in to take it out).
